Paris was wonderful.
It reminded me of New York, but nicer, cleaner, and older.
It was also the most romantic city I have ever visited, but sharing a tiny room with two teenage brothers kind of sucked that part out of it.
The first night we were there we walked around and took a boat ride around the city.

If you are ever in Paris. Eat at Le Petite Prince de Paris. It's off the beaten path, but SO worth it. Hands down, one of the best meals I've had in my entire life.
I loved Paris. It was so crazy it survived the French Revolution and "Let them eat cake" and Louis the 14th. Being there really look me back to AP Euro days. I loved Paris because the city has so much history, yet is still so much alive. Places in Italy, like Venice particularly are only alive through tourism, and have had their day already, but Paris is still bumming. I was also surprised at how many young people the city has, maybe this contributes to its liveliness. Oh, and contrary to past experience, not all French are rude, and just about every person we met was patient with our english, and helpful. I definitely must go back one day, hopefully with a love next time.
