Florence with the Family

I am home!
I got home just in time for the 4th of July!
New York is HOT.
103 degrees, to be exact. And humid.
To be honest, I'm loving it.  I've never spent summer in New York.
In all the parks they have free yoga, events, and concerts.
Stuytown sets up a huge stage right outside my door every Wednesday and a band plays.
I went to yoga in Union Sq. this morning at 8:00.
I'm still somewhere between Europe time and New York time, but I love it because I've been going to bed early and waking up early so I have the whole day ahead of me.

I'm setting a goal to go to yoga everyday this summer.
I'm sick of my excuse that I'm too busy, because to be honest, life is only going to get harder, more complicated, and more busy, so it's up to me to make time for the things that are important.
This is what I'm trying to do.
No excuses.

After the end of the program last week my family flew into Florence and we spent three days there, then Paris, then London.  And because I have been internet-less and busy (excuses!) here are some much overdo photos starting from the beginning.

I couldn't show Florence pictures without first mentioning, bugs.
Florence has bugs.  Flesh-eating, pain-causing, evil bugs. That took a particular liking to my legs.
So brace yourself.  Here is my wicked, blistery bug bite!

This is the mask I made.  We started with molding clay from a block, then paper-mached.
The family climbed to the top of the Duomo. Lots of stairs, very claustrophobic. Mom was a little stressed. It was beautiful up top though!

The cutest chocolate lab pup hiding in a cart on the streets of Florence!

 Paris and London coming soon...
