Bolt

I am Boston bound! And couldn't be happier. Unfortunately the wifi on our bus is broken so thank goodness for iPhones. It's been a LONG week caring for over 100 pounds of dog. I am ready for a vacation even if it's only for two days.

My ode to Spring

Reason 1 why I LOVE Spring. 

Delicious, fresh fruit that doesn't cost tons of money! 

Reason 2: 

Day Light Savings Time: I adore thee. 

I give my hour of sleep willingly for months of long days and bike rides home from work in the sun! 

Reason 3: 

It's getting warmer and a frozen yogurt truck has permanently set up shop right outside my office!  Prime location...Delicious froyo. 

Things

I have been a horrible horrible blogger.  But to be honest my life hasn't been that exciting lately.  It hasn't been bad!  It's just been stable...happy...good.  I realized yesterday that I have a great job, I'm living in the greatest city, I have good friends, an adorable puppy, a lovely roommate, a cute apartment, and a love that I get to see every weekend.  I am extremely blessed, and extremely happy with where my life is right now.  I am also happy because I know that this will not last forever, life will change and evolve, and things won't always be this good.  So I am enjoying the present.

Things that have happened (in scattered order):

1. Nate and I discovered The Place- possibly the most romantic restaurant in in the West village. . 
2. I discover Little Italy- how it took me three years of living in new york to do this - I don't know!  Best find ever. 
3. Pumpkin became arch enemies with this:  She growls and barks at it with all of her might. 
4. I paid my rent entirely from my own paycheck - very very awesome. 
5. I paid my credit card bill entirely from my own paycheck - I am proud of myself, what can I say? 
6. I got this little baby in the mail two days ago...apparently double majors aren't diploma worthy- dumb. 
7. It rained...alot. 
8. My phone died.  Cause of death: rain. 
9. I got an iphone!!!
10. I made homemade bruschetta with ingredients from Eataly - coolest and largest Italian market in the world. 
11. Donated 3 trashbags full of old clothes to Salvation Army 
12. I worked, alot. 
13. I bought pretty turquoise rugs for the office. 
14. I went to yoga, alot. 
15. I took puppy Pumpkin to the dog park, where most of the time she gets bullied and chases after brother Fish. 
16. Danced with Pumpkin to Motown pandora station every morning this week. 
17. Booked a trip to Boston for next weekend! 
18. Sold my old furniture on craigslist.
19. Went to some yoga workshops. 
20. Saw Crimes of the Heart at Adler.
